Founded in 1918, SOFTGROUP has throughout generations become one of the most important Moroccan family holdings in the textile , real estate and distribution. Being a corporate citizen, particularly through the Amine KABBAJ Foundation, acknowledged as serving public utility, SOFTGROUP contributes, with a constant commitment, to the realization of many health centers, thus actively participating in the strengthening of the Moroccan society and economy.

History :

Among the numerous achievements of The Amine Kabbaj Foundation, we can mention the following :  

  • 1918: Haj M'hamed founded the parent company for the Export of Fabrics and Handicrafts to Senegal and Mali.
  • 1948: His Son Abdellatif KEBBAJ imported fabrics from Lyon.
  • 1968: Mohamed Kabbaj, Haj M'hamed’s grandson, took over and launched the printing of scarves, then extended the activity with the creation of several textile segments.
  • 1987: Realization of the first real estate project.
  • 1995: Creation of Amine KABBAJ Foundation.
  • 1999: First textile company to hold the ISO 9002 Certificate.
  • 2002: Creation and launch of Diamantine.
  • 2003: First royal inauguration of a center established by the Foundation.
  • 2007: SOFTGROUP becomes the largest national producer of 100% export sweaters.
  • 2008: Creation of Clair Ô Foncé, a brand of shawls, scarves and fabrics made of pure silk.
  • 2011: Expansion of the Diamantine brand internationally.
  • 2012: Diamantine is elected the first Moroccan trade and distribution brand in the national market.
  • 2015: Mohamed KABBAJ was decorated with the Alaoui Wissam by His Majesty King Mohamed VI.
  • 2016: Creation of the SOFT TECH subsidiary, specialized in technical textile and non-woven fabrics.
